A New Reality

What a different year! … Everything about it has taken a little to a great deal of adjustment & patience to get through.

Not seeing your friends or family. No more chats with your favorite Starbucks barista. What about the grocery store employee that you’ve gotten to know better than you thought… b/c you’re always wandering aimlessly in the store -relishing in the NO KID minutes you get every so often?!!!?

I know we are all in similar waters, but riding different boats… As I once heard at the beginning of these rough waters. Even with that being said though, the last year will be something we can ALL talk about with each other and feel some great camaraderie.

If you had trouble during these times, or still are…I send you love, light and healing. Maybe we are on different teams…But, still looking for the same outcome. Getting back to our new “reality”.

Ride those waves, my sweet love …

What does a new reality look like?…

Some of that “normalcy” brought us to Utah for our annual ski trip this year… But, in April- lol.

It was delightful. Uplifting. Safe. Fun. Full of snow. Beautiful. Warm…then a big snowstorm...Cold (ha ha ha). Gave us great family time (I know…sometimes we feel like we get more than enough of that…but, I swear a simple change of scenery- at any capacity -is a TOTAL game changer!)

Relaxing- that’s the big one!

So much, that I was able to…
Binge watch Handmaid’s Tale (before season 4 comes out this week!!!! YAY!).

Catch up with my pal, Drew (Barrymore…not really friends….yet) - by watching her tutorial video on how to hide a droopy eye….Happy to know I’m not alone (lol).

Self-diagnose (with the help of good ol’ WebMD) my slight cough and red eyes with the worst option possible and proceed to treat myself w/ a bunch more relaxation…lol.

And…threw a HUGE party for myself b/c I could finally button my fav pre-Covid pants!!!! Holler!

Hope looks beautiful!

Hope looks beautiful!

As you can see…if you already know me… nada has changed. I’m the same old kooky, spirited, fun girl who just wants everyone else to be enjoying life too.

All in all, I’m sending this post as a glimmer of hope that all of you can find a hint of your normal too… Whatever that may look like.
