Mom of 3, Kerry learned too soon the double-edged sword of raising independent girls.
After saying goodbye to her youngest child on the first day of kindergarten, she realized it was her first day alone in 5 years, and the overwhelming feelings of joy and sadness surprised her.
Teary and scrambling for something to write on in her minivan, she poured her feelings out onto a stray napkin.
Now Kerry writes to bring moms and their growing children closer; to provide moments of connection that will be cherished by both.
